I figured it was time I updated our life on here.
We are all settled in our new home of Layton, Utah. We are loving our new area. Minus the Winter of course---but hopefully that is almost over.
Connor is going to preschool with his cousin and he loves it. I asked him a few weeks ago if we should go back to our old house and go back to his old preschool. His answer: "No, the other kids can go there."
Connor is growing up so much. He's going to start Kindergarten in the Fall and he's super excited about it. Although I think he looks forward to the social part of it. He's not very interested in the ABC and 123 business. Things come easy to him, which is good but in some ways but makes him a little lazy at times. :) He is really such a sweet little boy. He is always asking how he can help with something and is becoming very independent.
Kamree is in preschool at the school district preschool program. It's taken a few months and a meeting or two with her teacher but i feel like she is finally progressing and doing really well there. Her preschool back in Salt Lake was not a good fit for her so I feel like we had a set back this year but now things are going well.
she knows all her ABC's, can count to 30, knows all the sounds to each letter, and can Spell and write her own name. She's different from Connor in that she really enjoys learning and has more patience to sit and figure something out (definitely got that from her dad!), but unlike Connor she struggles a little more with social boundaries---like personal space. :) Another accomplishment is she's fully potty trained!---day and night! wahoo!! We started in December and it took her about a month and we haven't had an accident since.
Baby #3 is trying her best to stay in as long as possible despite all opinions from the doctor (and me!) that it's time for her to come out. Once tomorrow rolls around, this will be the most pregnant I've ever been. At last week and this week's appointment I was 3 cm and 75% effaced. The doctor thought I would for sure have her last weekend, but here we are a week later and she's still in there. The way I have been feeling changed dramatically from last thursday to this past tuesday. I got a constant dull headache and started seeing flashing spots in my vision. I didn't think much of the spots because my vision has been getting worse and worse for weeks. I didn't think that it could be my blood pressure. I went in on Tuesday and sure enough I was 140/ 80-something. The doctor checked my already slightly low platelets with the plan that if they went down any lower that we would induce but my platelets ended up going up by one point so we're waiting some more. The doctor wants to see me again tomorrow to make sure things are ok. I'm sure all will be well and we'll make it to my 39 week induction--but if this little one decided she wants to come sooner, say like this weekend, we'll fully support that. :)
Next Post---hopefully a baby announcement! :)
