Stranger Danger?

I think Connor needs to learn a little bit about stranger-danger. Today we went to Sam's Club and I heard someone come walking briskly behind me. It startled me a little but was just a fast walking guy that worked at Sam's. Well, as this man was walking past, Connor stuck his little hand out of the cart to this man and said "Hi" the man shook Connor's hand and said hi back and kept walking then Connor said a little louder, "How are you?!" like this was some friend he hadn't seen in years. he politely said, "I'm good, How are you?" and Connor didn't say anything so he just laughed and went on his way. Then about 5 seconds later, Connor yells: "HAVE A GOO DAY! BYE!" I do not understand this little boy sometimes. He will be so shy to people he knows, like family members! but will carry on a conversation with a complete stranger. It was a pretty cute conversation anyway.
