4 Months

Kamree had her 4 month appointment yesterday. She weighs 15 lbs 3 ounces and is 26 1/4 inches long. She is taller than 95% of babies her age and weighs more than 75% of babies her age. We got out Connor's baby book yesterday to compare her to Connor and I cannot believe he was so tiny! (he did throw up pretty much everything he ate until he was 9 months though.) At this age Connor was only 11 lbs (20%) and 24 inches long (70%).
Kamree is the sweetest baby. She is just happy all the time and just goes with the flow. She adores her big brother and he loves her too.(finally!) On the rare occasion that Kamree cries Connor runs over to her and says "ohhh, the baba." and gives her a hug. It is so cute! There are times when they will look at each other or Kamree will Coo to Connor and he will laugh so hard and then she laughs right back.
Yesterday the doctor gave me some information on getting Kamree to sleep through the night and stop eating at night. She explained that at this age it's behavorial for them to wake up, it's not a need. If that goes on too long they start to use the bottle as a security object and may not sleep through the night until they are 3 or 4! I thought when I laid Kamree down last night for bed and followed the instructions I was given that she would cry or it would be a long night. Nope! She sang herself to sleep at 8:30 without crying and I didn't hear from her until 5:00 this morning. I don't know how we got so lucky to have such a good little baby!
All went well at her appoinement. She was given a prescripion oil for her eczema but I expected that, and after one application it's already 70% better!
