2 years and 2 months

The kids had their doctor appointment today. It was Connor's 2 year appt. and kamree's 2 motnhs appt. Connor has thankfully overcome his fear of doctors. I made Tyler go with me because I didn't know how connor would react. (He developed a fear of doctors after getting an x-ray for an ENT. Then the night I was in labor with Kamree he was throwing up almost uncontrollably so he had to get a suppository to stop the throw up...--- ever since he has hated doctors)
Connor was so good while the doctor looked in his ears and felt his tummy. He weighs over 27 pounds and is 36 inches tall. That means he is taller than 90% of the kids his age but only weighs more than 40% of kids his age. He's still our little string bean. He has gained almost 5 pounds in the last 6 months, so his curve jumped quite a bit! He's also grown almost 3 inches in the last 6 months! Our pediatrician's office gives the kids a sticker with their new measurements on them and Connor loves to wear his sticker and show us how big he is!

Kamree is growing like a weed! She is so much bigger than Connor was at this age! She weighs 11lbs 9 ounces and is 23 inches long. That puts her in the 50% for weight and the 75% for height. Kamree makes this nasty weezing sound whens he breathes and I passed it off as a little bit of reflux because it sounded just like Connor's reflux noise. The doctor said today that it sounds like she's breathing through a little mucous. I guess she really needs to clear her throat but she won't so there's nothing wrong, but we have to really watch her if she gets sick. It could warrant a trip to the doctor's office for a breathing treatment.
Kamree did not appreciate her three shots today but very much enjoyed her oral rotavirius vaccination. The poor little thing has been sleeping all afternoon. Dr. O was pretty impressed with her head control and how much she can hold it up already.

They're both getting so big!

I wonder how tall Connor and Kamree are going to be when they are finished growing? All the tall genes in one family. WOW! Tyler took all the tall with him. I know that the brothers always wanted to have some of that!!!
