Update on our family,
Connor is loving Kindergarten. He has the sweetest teacher. She is a single woman probably in her mid 30's and she devotes her life to her kindergarten kids. I can't believe how much this boy is learning every day and how much he remembers! I was concerned he would have a hard time staying in his chair and stayin on task but he has blown me away with how awesome he does. I had a parent teacher conference this week and the first thing his teacher said to me was "so, he's a pretty laid back kid, huh?" I never would describe connor as laid back but I guess at school he is extremely serious, shy and "laid back". She said he does his work when he's supposed to be working and plays when it's time to play. What more could we ask for? He's such a sweet, awesome kid.
Kamree, oh my Kamree... where do I start? She just turned 4 last month. I don't know anyone who could spend time with this girl and not fall in love with her. She is a firecracker for sure. She is independent when she wants to be and is very opinionated. she goes to school 4 days a week and rides the bus there and back. She loves school. It's her favorite activity. She is writing letters and trying to read 3 letter words. She has been struggling more with eye contact, keeping attention when being talked to; and therefore struggles following through with tasks because she's not committing them to memory. I think it's exhausting for her and me everyday to deal with this. It took us 2 hours for her to clean her room on monday (with very minimal toys to pick up) and yesterday it took us at least that long but it never got done because it was time for bed (totally impossible to work with her when she's tired) and so we continued first this morning. This girl will do great things in life and I'm looking forward to see what she accomplishes. The obstacles she faces seem unfair and are hard to adjust but we just do our best with what we know.
Allyson, (7 months) is our little sweetheart. I could not have asked for a better baby. She is very attached to me and that gets hard at times since I rarely have time away. When i leave her, it's not a short crying spell, it's hours. I hate to put her or Tyler through that when it's not necessary. As long as i'm home she is content and happy. She rolls all around the room and is starting to get up on her hands and knees. Both my other kids were crawling by now and I'm loving that she's not! Connor and Kamree always seemed like they were in a hurry to get somewhere and grow up but she seems content to be a baby and is not in any hurry to grow up. I am fine with that. :)
Love these little people. They keep me going everyday.
