Rasor Family: Kamree- 18 months

Kamree finally got to go to her 18 month well child appointment today. We've been sick so much, I've had to reschedule the appointment a few times. She weighs 25 lbs 13 ounces (60%) and she is 34 1/2 inches tall (92%). She is sooooo tall. She's grown 4 1/2 inches in 6 months!!! The doctor and nurse could not believe how tall she has gotten. Our doctor told us we need to prepare ourselves for family and friends to expect too much from her because she looks much older than she is. She reminded us that she is still very much a baby and to be prepared to ignore comments from people who may not know or remember that she's still little. At her last appointment we were a little concerned because she had stopped talking between her 12 and 15 month appointment. She's back to saying everything she did before but she's just on her own track in that area. She's made quite a bit of progress in the last 3-4 months so we get to avoid speech therapy for now!! Kamree got one shot today and she screamed louder than I've ever heard her but she recovered quickly. I'm sure Kamree would be happy to tell everyone that she's done with shots until she goes to Kindergarten!
