2 week check-up

Kamree had her two week check-up today. She is growing like a weed! She is 8 pounds 2 ounces (40th percentile) and 21 1/2 inches long. (75th percentile) She was so sweet to the doctor despite all the poking and prodding. Her belly button was not closing on it's own so our pediatrician had to use silver nitrate to cauterize it. She did not care for that but hopefully now her little belly button will stop oozing. Then we got to spend some time with the heel warmer to prepare her little foot for the PKU test. She did so well! She stopped crying within a few seconds. I remember the PKU being so much worse for Connor. I don't remember if his doctor at the time had the heel warmer though. If not, I know it made a big difference for Kamree.
