Changes

This week Connor feels like his world, and by world I mean his room, has been turned upside down. We took down our guest bed (which he LOVED to lay on), cleaned out his closet, moved most of his toys from the front room to his bedroom and switched him to a toddler bed. I wasn't planning to change his bed until he was 2, but we thought maybe we should get him adjusted BEFORE the baby instead of after. He's was pretty cool with everything until we moved his crib and put all of Kamree's bedding in it. He did very well sleeping in his new toddler bed last night, but naptime was another story. He would not stay in his bed to take a nap today (what did I expect from a 1 year old, really?). Around 3:00 he went in to my bed and fell asleep within about 30 seconds of laying his head down. He slept for about an hour and woke up in as bad of a mood as when he laid down.

Tyler snapped these pictures of connor pulling me. If i tried to see where he wanted to go, he would just have a tantrum and cry. He just wanted to pull on me I guess.

Tonight I noticed some red swollen gums in his mouth. I'm really hoping teething is to blame for this a little. I guess if it's not, time will fix it, right?? I told Tyler after today, I'm really nervous how he's going to react when we bring this baby home.
Change has got to be hard for a little kid.
