Connor Stories

Connor has been doing some cute and naughty things recently. we'll start with the cute.
He has started to talk on the phone. everything from the remote to a shoe is a phone to him. Tonight he had the actual cell phone and brought it to me and said "boppa" (connor's word for grandpa) and I handed the phone back to him and told him to call "boppa." He then handed the phone back to me and yelled "Boppa!" and put his hand up to his ear, showing me how to use the phone. I then had to have quite the conversation with an imaginary grandpa. (I don't know where he got this idea from. As far as I know he's never talked to either grandpa on the phone.)

He's starting to do some of his sign language. He recently learned how to sign the word "more".

Connor's starting to go through bottle withdrawls. A couple months ago he could care less if i gave him formula in a cup or a bottle but now he cares! He hardly drank any milk today and I was trying to get him to drink from his cup but gave in. Tyler went to grab him a bottle and said, "you want a baba, connor.?" He looked over at Tyler and said, "ma baba dad." It was the cutest thing! He never puts words together but he sure understood how to get a bottle!

Now for the naughty....
The other day, Tyler took a half day from work so we were going to go shopping as soon as he got home. I was in a hurry when Connor woke up from his nap (pooped as aways) so I started to change him. I open the diaper and reach for a wipe and Connor grabs the OPENED diaper and starts to wave it like a flag on the fourth of July!
POOP EVERYWHERE!
I don't mean poop just on the changing mat but poop in his blankets, clothes, clean diaper, his face and his chest! EVERYWHERE! Connor thought this was hilarious! I was not a happy mom during that but I do think it would have been funny to watch, so I don't blame Connor for not being able to control his laughter.

I will add as I think of more. Hopefully the cute moments continue to out number the naughty. :o)

I am so sorry to say this, but I had to laugh too. I have several poop stories about all of them, but I won't gross you out. I can assure you I didn't laugh at the time either, I cried. The cute stories always win out, that's why they survive. They are just too cute to stay mad at for long. Connor is dang adorable! :) Please ask him to practise saying Gramma next!
