Here's two stories from this week...

I really haven't had any fun events to blog about but I figured I could come up with something so I don't get out of the habit.
On Tuesday I decided I wanted to go shopping. I was in major need of new jeans so I had to go all the way out to South Towne mall since that's the closest maurices location that i'm aware of. So as Connor and I are in the car a Jo dee Messina song came on and i'm hardly paying attention to it until I hear Connor start singing along saying " bah bye bah bye". (the word to the song are bye bye. bye bye my baby bye bye) Then when we were in maurices there was another song that just said la la la la over and over and connor piped up singing " yaya ya ya ya" So cute!

Here's another story from this week, but I come off bad in it....
I had two huge *stinky* bags of garbage to take out on Monday, so I hauled them down 3 flights of stairs and began my way towards the dumpster on the other side of the parking lot...(it's pretty far after going down that many stairs and trying not to breathe in the stinkyness) when I got to the bottom stair I noticed that someone was smoking in the parking lot. I've self diagnosed myself that I must be allergic to cigarette smoke since I can hardly breathe when i'm near it my nose runs and I have a coughing fit...so i'm thinking "dang smokers, it's not fair i have to breathe in that crap." as I'm passing the guy that's smoking he starts walking towards me which got me a little more irritated because his cigarette was still lit, but then he just said " here let me take your garbage, I have to finish this before I get in the car." I was floored....Not because someone would offer to take my garbage necessairly (it was a noble thing to do, it stunk really bad) but because of how ignorant and rude my thoughts were before. That taught me a lesson for sure!

So I guess the point of this post was that I'm grateful for my cute little boy and very grateful for the stranger who taught me to not be so judgemental.
