When it Rains it pours!
Our summer started out with me having to have surgery. I hadn't really felt my best since Connor was born then in April i started to have these weird pains that i feared were an ulcer or something. I finally went to the doctor at th end of May and he did a bunch of tests and said if he found gall stones I would be sent right to a surgeon. Of course he found stones on a friday and Tuesday I was sent in for surgery because my pancreas was beginning to enlarge. During all this our car decided to break down so $600 later it was fixed. We thought all would be well after this. Then at the end of June our alternator went out. This was going to be at least another $500. So after many many many talks with the dealership they paid for the alternator repair in full since we just bought this car in May! So, yet again we thought everything would be better after this... then while at the gym I started getting a pain in my gall bladder area---but i don't have a gall bladder...so I was sent for another ultrasound and they couldn't find anything. The doctor thinks this just might be trapped air from the surgery. I hope she's right! If it doesn't go away in 4-6 weeks i'm supposed to have a CT Scan. I don't want to waste my time and money to find out that the only explanation is that i'm a Steadman so i'll hope it just goes away by then! We are hoping now that this is ALL over and we can enjoy what's left of our summer.
